Job Description
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and management of applications in Kubernetes clusters
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IAC) for Kubernetes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc
- Design and architect Kubernetes containers platforms
- Further development and operations of our state-of-the-art Kubernetes Platform as a member of a highly motivated team. Active involvement in expansion of the platform features based on product targets
- Cooperation with related product teams in a dynamic DevOps environment
- Documentation and knowledge sharing about troubleshooting and best practices
Qualifications
- Excellent knowhow in Linux with experience ideally as a SysAdmin
- Knowhow in administering and advanced usage of Kubernetes
- Knowledge and prior experience in virtualization and containerization
- Excellent understanding of computer networking
- Experience and solid understanding of cloud computing service providers specially GCP
- Awareness of and hands-on experience in hardening and security practices
- Hands on experience with automation, configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Knowhow in multiple of the following topics:
- Gitops and CI/CD tools
- Agile development
- Logging and Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, fluentd, etc.
- Software-Defined Networking and Software-Defined Storage
- Enterprise storage systems
- Backup/restore and recovery procedures in production environment
- Lifecycle management, updates, upgrades
- Experience with programming languages such as Java or Go is a plus
- Experience with cloud computing infrastructure technologies and products such as OpenStack is a plus
- Prior experience with ITSM tools specially Jira is a plus
- Fluency in English
